FIXED TEETH/NON REMOVABLE = CROWN- AND BRIDGE TECHNIQUE ( see above)
REMOVABLE = PARTIAL OR FULL DENTURES
A simple, quickly made partial or total denture that is prefabricated in the dental laboratory before the planned extraction of teeth that are no longer maintainable. Advantage: The patient is never without teeth !!
Total denture (as a definitive)
(For example according to the system of Lauritzen)
Final full denture made with several impressions and try-ins. Great attention is paid to aesthetics and prosthesis retention/stability. Time consuming, high quality.
Partial denture made of titanium or surgical steel
High Precision metal framework made of allergologically tested materials.
Advantage: Light, graceful partial denture, thatleaves enough room for your tongue. Very strong and stable.
The teeth sit on the jaw with only a narrow support/coverage. The fixation is carried out by so-called attachments (retention elements) on still existing teeth or on implants. In doing so, the denture is inserted into the attachments and snaps into place there fixed.
